It was hard to hold back the inevitable excitement that washed over these MTV Style offices when we first caught wind of H&M's upcoming The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo collaboration. Skin-tight liquid leggings, artfully distressed blanket cardigans, a muted urban color palette, and moto details? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. We shared the news with you all late October, but since then, buzz around the collection has been relatively quiet—mostly to make room for the Versace for H&M launch and the Marni collab announcement. Just in time to rekindle our interest (and remind us to budget some of that holiday shopping that-a-way) H&M has released *drumroll* IMAGES of the collection for you to peruse.
The line is steeped in deliciously edgy separates from well-worn denim, cargo skinnies, and asymmetrical evvvverything. We're way into the swirly tribal earrings inspired by those worn by Lisbeth Salander/Rooney Mara, and think they'd look just as cute paired with a bright, printed bodycon as they do with those leather leggings. The collection offers Lisbeth-inspired pieces from head to toe, with a super cozy-looking charcoal hooded scarf, a basic black belt, and several pairs of covetable distressed kicks. Personally, we're putting the long black wool coat with the asymmetrical zipper at the top of our Lust List. Which piece can you not wait to get your hands on?
